Be mine Starbucks 2012 Planner

I’ve been reading blog posts about the 2012 Starbucks Planner and I fell in love with the design concept that comes from different wood finishes; Bamboo, Cherry, Spruce,  Poplar and Oak, so Filipino. And, since I’m quite a fan of diaries and planner, I decided that my goal before year-end is to own an SB planner.

4 stickers down, 19 to go. Waaaaah… Anyone, help me, please? Lol!

Above is my favorite, dark mocha frappe priced at 175 pesos . I can’t help it. I just love it when sweet and bitter taste mixed in my mouth.

Molten Choco Cake, priced at 120 pesos, tasted like sweetened donut with super sweet filling inside and icing on top. Delightful is the exact word. I feel like a child after I ate this. haha!

Rice All You Can At ChicBoy

Last Saturday, Ate (sister) and I had a great food trip at ChicBoy (shortened word for chicken and baboy (pig)) while waiting for our momsy. Hungry as a bear, I ordered Pork Barbeque  rice all-you-can it is. Plus Leche plan and bottomless tea. While ate, had her chicken (rice all-you-can too), torones con leche and bottomless tea. As usual, we both had a full tummy at a much cheaper cost compared to our Sbarro bonding the last time.

Here are some of the photos of the food we ate(according to the time they arived).

It’s Raining Sisig at SM Hypermarket Pampanga Supersized Cook-off

pinoyfoodfest

Sisig, pronounced as [see-sig], is a traditional Filipino food which is considered to be one of Pinoy’s specialty because the preparation requires time, effort and of course dugo’t pawis (blood and sweat) Lol! How to make it more appetizing? That is what I’m currently discovering but people of Mabalacat Pampanga impressed me last October 28, 2010 when they participated in the Super-sized Cook Off for the Best Tasting & Largest Serving “SISIG”.

Halloween Bread you might want to try

After I saw it, I just said to myself, "I need to blog it."

One of my regrets this week was not making it to the First Bon Chon Foodies Treat at Ayala Triangle Gardens yesterday. Blame it to heavy rains! But, thanks to this huge photo, you see above, and also those who uploaded their amazing pictures that, honestly, stir the envy spirit in me. lol :)

So, I swear, in the name of my craving tummy, I am gonna try this said to be the “best chicken in America” according to the New York Times, Esquire, and GQ Magazine. Check out their Special Cooking Method which makes Bon Chon, the best:

A Real Milo Dinosaur!!!

After my lunch date with Ate Jen at Dinelli, we went  to greenbelt, bought some books at power books and stopped by at Toastbox for their Milo Dinosaur.  At first, I thought it was like a soft icecream in a tall glass. But, it was not what I was thinking.

I was amazed at first because it's the same as what my sister used to do when we were little kids. Actually, up until now when we have Milo in the fridge. See my proof below:

Loving Dinelli at Burgos Circle

After hearing the sad news that we did not make it to the final 3 of Intel Philippines Digital Showdown, I hurriedly texted two of my dear ates at the church. One comforted me with kind words while ate Jen invited me for a lunch date at Dinelli.

It was my first time to dine there but I fell inlove with their pasta the moment it landed my tastebud. :) I didnt get the name, sorry, but I took a close up shot here:

Dine At Banana Leaf

After eyeing several fast food chains and restaurants, another eating venue was tried and tested by the trio critic. It was the Banana Leaf at SM North Edsa.  Though it wasn’t my first time, I was excited as kid craving for candies.
Bloggers Dyetatayo and PinoyFoodFest at Banana Leaf
The place is pretty small yet cozy. It has good lighting that you would want to take thousands of pictures.

Thai Kingdom Come This July

Yesterday, I was privileged to get an invite to attend Thai Kingdom Come at Marriott Hotel resorts World in Pasay City. Basically, it's their way to promote some exquisite Thai cuisine through:
  • 1 month Thai tentic Dinner Buffet at Marriott Cafe for only P1750 nett
    •  diners are given a chance to win three days and two nights stay in one of the Marriott properties in Bangkok
  • Must Thai Cooking Class on July 12 and 19 with JW Marriott sous chef Thanatorn Krobsuay for only P1000 nett (inclusive of 3course Thai meal)
Honestly, cooking is not really my cup of tea but I swear, I really enjoyed a lot in this event that I wanted to go to Thailand as soon as now to grab all these magical herbs and spices they traditionally use in cooking. Aside from that, their procedures are so so easy. I think I can use some of them at home, if my mom and the rest of the gang permit me. :)

Okay, I wont go into details since I'm not very good at judging food so to show you, Here's something to drool over:
